What We Decide Before We Start Working
This is not a description of our services.
Nor is it a manifesto written to please.
Before Construct commits to any engagement,
we establish non-negotiable standards.
They are shared internally and also with our partners and clients,
as the foundation of how we work.
Our Stance on Capability
Capability does not dictate action.
With AI and technology, it is easy to produce answers that look reasonable, polished, and convincing.
But being able to do something
does not mean we should.
Even in high-stakes project recovery (CHINKA)
or risk prevention (YOBOU),
we refuse the easy path of ambiguity
or delayed decision-making.
We choose work that confronts raw facts and core issues,
rejecting convenience and plausibility in favor of truth.
Our Mission
As equal partners,
we use AI and technology strictly as tools
—never as substitutes for human judgment.
We do not look away from what matters.
We step into the difficult decisions that must be made by people,
and face them together with our clients.
Our Values
1. Equal Partnership
We do not create hierarchies based on roles or titles.
Whether client or colleague,
we engage with each other as equal parties responsible for judgment.
Being equal means not appeasing.
It also means not dominating.
We work on the premise that all parties stand
as responsible decision-makers.
2. Direct Confrontation for the Truth
We do not blur decisions to maintain comfort or harmony.
When core issues are being avoided,
we step in and address them directly.
This may lead to difficult debates.
Such conflict is not driven by ego or emotion,
but is a necessary process for reaching better decisions.
3. Presence at the Source of Judgment (Genba)
We stay where decisions are made.
We do not observe judgment from a safe distance.
Whether the site is domestic or overseas,
our stance does not change.
We rely not only on documents or secondary reports,
but verify facts through direct observation
and first-hand information.
4. Integrity Without Compromise
We do not engage in work that lacks integrity.
We do not justify shortcuts,
misrepresentation,
or superficial “correctness”
in the name of efficiency.
At the same time,
failures that result from sincere effort,
differences in opinion, and difficult debates
are necessary to reach better judgment.
Construct works only with those
who share the resolve to face issues with integrity
as equal partners.
About This Document
This document is not intended for universal agreement.
Construct chooses to work only with those
who share these principles
and are willing to face judgment as equal partners.
We believe this is the only way for decisions to move forward
without losing sight of what truly matters.
